Barking is the fastest course around. Totally flat 2 and bit laps.

Funnily enough i did my first one this morning, Wanstead Flats. Very well organised and decent course

Re: Saturday 5K ParkRun
I wouldn't mind doing the wanstead flats one were there many runners? I normally do either the Ipswich or Colchester one.

Re: Saturday 5K ParkRun
I'd say mile end is a challenge, certainly more than the other two. 2 laps, 2 gradual hills, 1 steep. So on a lap you'd do 6 and 12 in total. Just go give it a go, might be fine for you.

Re: Saturday 5K ParkRun

I've been ordered to tell you that Harrow Lodge Park, Hornchurch is the best one.

Re: Saturday 5K ParkRun

Re: Saturday 5K ParkRun
Do the Birkenhead one occasionally; 9am saturday is normally not a great time for me as I've got two young kids and it's family time (normally run early doors). Good atmosphere though. normally 200-250 there. Takes me longer to get there than it does to run, but once the kids are old enough to take part it will probably become part of the family routine.

Cannon Hill Park, Brum - usually minimum 600 runners

The runs with the most runners are not necessarily the best. Surely it's all about the organisation, the socialbility of the other runners and the course itself.
